Personal   Profile

In   2011, Mr. Yao Xikuang graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical   Engineering, Nanjing University and won the "Talent Project"   Program of Nanjing University. He did the MD-PhD course under the instruction   of Professor Jiang Xiqun, majoring in the synthesis and biological   application of biomedical polymer materials. After graduating from doctor's   degree in 2016, he successively conducted postdoctoral research at the   University of Maryland and the University of Massachusetts Medical School,   and was mainly engaged in the development and application of polymer   inorganic hybrid system. In June 2019, he joined the Institute of Advanced   Materials of Nanjing Tech University, in charge of teaching and conducting   scientific research, and undertaking many theoretical and practical courses   for undergraduates and postgraduates. At present, the research group mainly   focus on the design, synthesis and self-assembly of polymer materials, as   well as biomedical applications.

Representative   Research Projects / Works / Papers

Since Mr. Yao joined Nanjing   Tech University, he has been actively applying for national, provincial and   municipal projects, presided over the Youth Project of the Natural Science   Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the General Project of Jiangsu Education   Department, the Scientific and Technological Innovation Project of Overseas   Students in Nanjing, and won academic honors such as "Doctor of   Entrepreneurship and Innovation" of Jiangsu Province. Mr. Yao has been   invited to attend domestic and international conferences many times to carry   out academic exchanges and cooperation.

So far, as the first author or   corresponding author, Mr. Yao has published many SCI academic papers in the   mainstream polymer journals, including Progress in Polymer ScienceMaterials HorizonsBiomacromoleculesMacromolecular   Bioscience   and Journal of Materials Chemistry B, with the cumulative impact index   being nearly 70 .
