Jiang Min,   Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Professor Jiang is   currently Dean of the College of 2011 of Nanjing Tech University, Editor in   Chief of Chinese Journal of Biotechnology, Executive Director and   Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangsu Biological Technology Association, Deputy   Director of Professional Committee of China Society of Industrial Economics,   Chinese Coordinator of Sino German (Bilateral) Biotechnology   Cooperation(between Jiangsu and Baden-wurttemberg) and Technical Expert of   National Baijiu Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Jiangsu.

Professor   Jiang has won 1 Second Prize of the Technological Invention Award of China   Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, 1 Second Prize of Technological   Invention Award of the Ministry of Education, 1 Second Prize of Jiangsu   Provincial Science and Technology Award, and 1 First Prize of Educational and   Teaching Achievements of Jiangsu Education Department.

Representative Research Projects / Works / Papers

Facing the scientific frontier and   major needs, Professor Jiang Min has formed a series of patent groups based   on his research results and carried out technological transformation. He has   built up fruitful cooperation with Sinopec and COFCO Corporation. Professor   Jiang’s project of "Preparing PBS Biodegradable Materials from Corn Processed   Waste" has passed the acceptance and appraisal of Jiangsu Education   Department, and his technical achievements have been rated as the   international advanced level.

Professor Jiang has undertaken and   completed 1 Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1   Project of Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation in Jiangsu   Province, 1 Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, 1   Project of Scientific Research   Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars. What’s more, he has   participated in and completed a number of projects supported by the National   Natural Science Foundation and Research on Key Research Topics in the Tenth   Five-Year Plan.

In   recent five years, Professor Jiang has published more than 70 papers,   including 46 SCI papers, applied for 5 PCT patents and obtained 2 public   patents in the United States. Besides, he has also applied for 58 Chinese   invention patents with 33 authorized. Professor Jiang has published one   academic monograph and been invited to make international academic reports   for more than 10 times.
