At noon of May 11, NanjingTech’s 1st International Cultural Festival kicked off in Chenyi Square. Students from 13 foreign countries including Russia, Kazakhstan and Bangladesh set up cultural booths to display the food and folk customs of their own countries. The festival attracted a lot of people, and many teachers and students at home and abroad came to booth areas to taste the special food made by overseas students, try their national costumes and exchange customs of each country. Food like Thailand’s roast chicken wings, Pakistan’s desserts, Indonesia’s Satay, Bangladesh’s fried rice, Ethiopia’s coffee were highly praised by domestic and foreign students.
