NIKITA RUBAN (Zhou Zhihai), a international student of College of Overseas Education, did well in the recent voting for NanjingTech’s 3rd “Top 10 Outstanding Young Students”, and was awarded the title of the university’s 3rd “Top 10 Outstanding Young Students”.

NIKITA RUBAN comes from Russia and is currently the leader of the class of 2017 Computer Major. He has excellent academic results and has been awarded “Nanjing Municipal Government’s International student Scholarship”, “Jasmine Scholarship for International students” and “HSK Star of Chinese” and other honorary titles. He has extraordinary language competence and high levels of Russian, Chinese, English and Germany. Besides, NIKITA RUBAN has been keen on public welfare activities and sports. He has played active roles in activities such as providing voluntary services for the blind’s theater and the school sports meeting. At the same time, NIKITA RUBAN is fond of Chinese culture. After watching the Chinese traditional dragon and lion dance in NanjingTech, he fell in love with this event and has been passionate in studying and publicizing Chinese traditional culture. He has also built a dragon and lion dance team of overseas students and has been committed to bringing Chinese culture back to Russia and spreading to the whole world. The outstanding performance of NIKITA RUBAN demonstrates the youthful vigor of overseas students in NanjingTech and sets an example for international students.
