The video introduces fraudulent methods related to college admission, please be vigilant.
The first type is the early admission scam. Scammers impersonate the school's admissions office to contact you, falsely claiming that the school can admit you in advance, but requires you to pay tuition fees in advance.
The second method is to forge admission notices. Scammers impersonate university staff and send forged admission notices or false admission emails to candidates, asking them to transfer tuition and miscellaneous fees into designated bank accounts in order to defraud money.
The third type is education subsidy fraud. Scammers impersonate education department staff to contact you, and they will proactively disclose your personal information to gain your trust. Then, under the pretext of activating your account to receive study subsidies, they will ask you to bring your bank card to the ATM machine to steal money from your bank account.
Although there are many tricks in university admission, they all revolve around the "money". Students and parents must strengthen their prevention of any short messages or notifications involving money, and not easily disclose their information. Please note that any fees related to university admission will not be processed through ATM machines.
